Programme Schedules for Term 3/2015
(29th June to 5th Sept 2015)
“The Musicians of Bremen”
and other stories and fairytales written/illustrated by Tony Ross
This term, we will read and listen to Tony Ross, the author and illustrator known for his delightful pictures, humorous renderings and imaginative re-tellings of popular stories. Ross has produced about 600 children’s books – no mean accomplishment! We’ll read, for instance, The Musicians of Bremen and explore the science behind acoustics at the Esplanade Theatre. After seeing that we should never stick a finger up any of our nostrils in Don’t Do That! we’ll value our noses instead by creating our own perfume at Je T’aime Perfumery @ the Goodman Arts Centre! Our learning will not be limited to the kind that we acquire on field-trips. There will be a yummy multigrain congee to make, like Sweet Porridge. We will also prepare Polka-Dotted Fruit Pizzas after pulling the spot of bubblegum off Hippospotamus’ backside! What a hilarious time ahead! Join us now! Schedules for Term 3/2015 are shown in the table below.
