Underwater Creatures – An Outing to the SEA Aquarium Resorts World Sentosa

30th January 2013

In Open Learning, we read about Mark’s summer with his grandmother selling crab cakes, lobster rolls, fries and ice cream at her seaside food shop. One night, they had a magical boat ride. They saw thousands of shimmering moonjellies floating like lights in the open sea. We took the opportunity to take our children to the S.E.A Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa for Life Skills on Wednesday. We wanted the children to learn about the various types of marine life that exist in this world.

At the Discovery Touch Pool, we met a pencil sea urchin and felt the knobbly sea star plus a wiggly sea cucumber! We waved at a gigantic leopard shark and a goliath grouper. We saw schools of many fish and the magnificent manta rays.
